Tygapaw (they/them) is an artist, dj, producer and label owner originally from Mandeville, Jamaica, and currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Their work moves through Afro-diasporic club culture, blending dancehall and techno into a personal sonic language rooted in sound, activism and storytelling.

Since 2014, they have run Fake Accent, a radical and inclusive platform created to support Black queer and trans artists. Over the years, Tygapaw has refined a sonic practice that merges technical precision with narrative power, as demonstrated by the EP Handle With Care (2019), Ode To Black Trans Lives (2020) and their debut album Get Free (2020). In 2023, they released love has never been a popular movement, a second album that explores trans identity and love as a political act, marking a shift with the use of hardware and their own voice.

At Electropark 2025, they present a powerful and visionary dj set where the dancefloor becomes a space of belonging and affirmation.
