Lukas Karvelis (he/him) is a Lithuanian choreographer and performer born in 1997 and currently based in Amsterdam. He trained at Codarts (Rotterdam), supported by the Jiri Kylian Foundation, and has collaborated with institutions such as the Royal Danish Theatre, Münich Kammerspiele, and Korzo Theater. His choreographic research focuses on the body as a site of transformation, instability, and emotional resonance.

At Electropark 2025, he presents the Italian premiere of “Yet Another Day in Paradise”, a choreographic performance for two dancers who share a reduced surface of balance: a skateboard. Movement arises from the physical need to cooperate to remain upright, becoming a reflection on the need for connection, the tension between dependency and autonomy, the resilience of the human spirit, and the complexities of intimacy.
