Based between Berlin and Lisbon, marum (they/them) is a DJ, artist, and curator working at the intersection of electronic music, queer culture, and collective research. Emerging from Lisbon’s underground scene, they are the founder of the Rabbit Hole platform, co-founder of the queer rave collective mina, resident at Dissident in Berlin, and co-manager of the Planeta Manas space.
Their practice blends music, activism, and care work, exploring the transformative potential of sound through trance, techno, dub, and ambient. marum founded the transdisciplinary platform XenoEntities Network (XEN), focusing on gender, technology, and queer politics, and hosted the radio program Vantablack on Rádio Quântica. As a DJ, they have performed at international festivals and venues including Säule, Bassiani, ∄, Whole, Sónar, ICA London, Berlin Atonal, and Primavera Sound.
At Electropark 2025, they present a new production in its Italian premiere: a DJ set that moves through psychoacoustic environments and high-intensity rhythms, rooted in queer club culture and its shared imaginaries.
