TURBOLENTA

TURBOLENTA ليلى is a Milan-based artist who brings traditional North African and Arab sounds into the club scene, placing them at the heart of a project born from the need to bring together and question different cultural identities within a single musical expression.

Her sets draw on sounds and imagery linked to childhood and to North African and Arab culture, reworking them within the contemporary club context. The project highlights the specific features of the genres she explores, while also revealing their connections with today’s global sounds.

TURBOLENTA ليلى has opened for Dystinct, been a guest of Acid Arab, and has performed at festivals and clubs in Italy and abroad, including La Station, Gretchen, Kampnagel and Tivoli. In Italy, she has played at events such as Spring Attitude, Linecheck and Miami Festival, Ivreatronic, as well as in venues like Fabrique, BASE and Bunker.

She has been featured on radio stations including Radio Raheem, Tsugi Radio, Fritto FM, La Stanza, Radio Flouka and Camera Anecoica. Her work has also been mentioned by media outlets such as Corriere, Art Part of Culture and Roma Today.
