RANDOMPLAY

Francesca Fava, dj and curator, develops through the project randomplay a musical practice that is open and constantly evolving. Her sets move across different genres and atmospheres, shaped by the context and energy of the space in which they are shared. The name randomplay reflects this approach: an unpredictable selection built through a consistent and recognisable musical research, characterised by fluid sonic trajectories and an ever-changing structure.

She is part of the Genoa-based collective eg:wa and is a resident at the Nuova Cinematografica Gioiello nights. Over the years she has shared the booth with artists such as Katatonic Silentio, Chloé, Healing Force Project, Swayzak, Marvin & Guy, Laura Agnusdei and Herva.

Alongside her work as a dj, she has curated the artistic direction of projects and programmes including Electropark and Exchanges, bringing artists such as Caterina Barbieri, Marie Davidson, Laurel Halo, Hans-Joachim Roedelius, Joey Anderson, Egyptrixx, Kangding Ray, Tim Hecker, Peverlist and Kowton to stages in Genoa and Milan.
