BOYS WON'T BE BOYS
BOYS WON'T BE BOYS, curated by musicians, performers, and dancers Rikkert van Huisstede (NL) and Vincenzo Turiano (IT/NL), will feature a workshop open to local performers, students, and activists who will join the artists in a participatory theater practice centered on the theme of masculinity.
The workshop, which will continue throughout the fall of 2026 and spring of 2027 in a hybrid format, will involve sharing various stories about the relationship with masculinity, identity, gender roles, and male social norms, to be presented as a performance during Electropark 2027, following the (all site-specific) experiences with temporary communities created through workshops held in the Netherlands, Curaçao, and Finland.
