Azzi on the Beat

Azzi on the Beat is a multidisciplinary artist from Lagos, Nigeria, who fuses dance, music production, and cultural research into a single Afrocentric vision, telling stories by embracing Yoruba movement aesthetics.

A rising star of the afro-urban movement born from local communities and part of the Nyege Nyege roster, he firmly believes that the arts must be a catalyst for change and provocation—a conviction that has constantly fueled his passion for moving beyond aesthetics to create something with a real impact on society.

At Electropark 2026, he is one of the key figures of the first club night at Menodue Club, with a hybrid set demonstrating that there is more than one way to dance, together, on the dancefloor.

A new and futuristic musical style that enriches Nigerian Street Beat with shades of soul and traditional African music, designed to make the audience's soul vibrate even before their bodies start to move.
